Community road safety programmes are road safety programmes delivered by community providers in a community context. These Land Transport NZ-endorsed programmes generally started out as community road safety projects developed by communities to address their own road safety issues. The programmes are adaptable to communities’ needs and are seen as having the potential to address similar road safety issues in many communities across New Zealand.
